CT ARTIST: SOLO OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO "FATHERHOOD"

Solo is an independent artist from the Hartford/East Hartford area. Somewhat new to the scene but growing not only as an artist.

Born Andrew Joseph Stegall to military parents, Andrew had the opportunity to live in different areas. After moving to Staten Island, NY with his mother and grandparents, he would spend countless hours in front of his grandfathers record player listening to all types of music.

As he got older and settled in Hartford, CT he one day took a liking to piano and just played it as if he was born doing so. Being that his mother was not a fan of rap music in her household, this caused him to seek the sounds of hip-hop everywhere but home.

At age 19 he decided to pick up the pencil and paper and create music of his own which led to 2 Ep's "Beginning of A New Error" 2009 and "The Darkest Hour" 2011. Now 3 years later he has decided to dust off his rhyme book and go all in with his 3rd project "End of A new Error"

Check out his video below for the track "Fatherhood", has a dope positive vibe, you can tell Solo is an artist that is true to himself and that is somthing I personally appreciate.

CT ARTIST LOGIKIL MURDERS THE BET AND SPRITE 2014 "HOT 16 CONTEST"

Check out Hartford's own LogiKIL murdering the BET Hip Hop Awards Hot 16, Hosted by DJ Drama and Presented by: SPRITE! 

In my mind LogiKIL has clearly submitted the best video I have seen in this competition. The best lyrics and by far the best video. It shows how serious some artists take these opportunities, while the majority of artists just recorded their 16 on their phone with the beat in the background, LogiKIL came correct and professional. Nice touch adding the Sprite in the video as well. Business minded. Now that's a smart move, the competition in this isn't on his level. Well done, best of luck. SPLAT CAM: SHOUT OUT TO SPLAT860 ON THIS DOPE PIC! MY WHOLE TRUNK IS FILLED WITH "THE CONN-VICTION TAPES" MERCH.

I would like to recognize Splat860 for his contribution to the CT music scene in addition to his help with "The Conn-viction Tapes"! I am grinding hard to put this project together and make it huge, which it will be! When someone like Splat uses his skills and creativity to help further that goal, I appreciate it. My whole trunk is filled with merchandise for SeeS and "The Conn-viction Tapes"!

I would like to thank everybody for the birthday wishes, come party with me this Friday at Beso Lounge in East Hartford!. 28 and the hustle continues. I am getting interest from all over the state but had to reach out to my fam and the artists I have done work with in the past first, its only right. The Conn-viction Tapes: Williano is The 3rd Artist Officially Accepted

On behalf of CT Corporate Takeover, I would like to formally announce Williano will be featured as one of the CT artists on "The Conn-viction Tapes". I was given Williano's CD at the last Sully's event I attended and honestly think it was one of the best CD's I have listening to from a CT artist in a long time. I am excited to have him on "The Conn-viction Tapes"! He will be joined on the project by Theo Manchyld and Chosen among others soon to be announced! More details coming soon!

CT HIPHOP EVENTS: MIC ON DECK - UNIFIED HIP HOP SERIES

LISTEN UP CT! Mic On Deck is one of the illest, if not the illest promoter I am lucky enough to work with in CT. Every event he throws has a great turn out and the energy in the building is positive and constructive. Really great events to network at. If you are anybody into hip-hip and live in CT you need to make it to these events. SeeS will be in the building; I try to make it to all Mic On Deck events, in the past many good things have come from the networking that takes place.
