Cloud 9ine (C9) is a group of new hip hop artist from Hartford Connecticut. The group consist of, Money Mel, Ricky Ravishin, and M. Squeez. They make versatile music that matches up with their lifestyles, such as, party music, story telling, and even love songs. Cloud 9ine was formed by a group of friends, who've known each other for over fifteen years. The name came about, in reference to how the members dressed. "They were so fly, they were on Cloud 9ine". In August of 2011, the trio begin recording freestyles in a friends basement, which later led to them writing songs. Now, the trio writes and records music regularly, and is starting to put their music out for the world to hear. They have also started performing their music at local bars around the state of CT. Cloud 9ine plans on continuing to write and record music in the future, and look forward to working with other artists from all genres. Welcome to C-9! Enjoy!

I attended SHOW LOVE GET LOVE 1 & 2 and can tell you firsthand they were great shows and amazing for networking. It takes a lot of effort and love for the state and local artists to put these showcases together and I want to Salute No Gimmick for making these shows possible! - SeeS

With determination, the love of real lyricism and a strong team V-NE$$ is able to set herself apart from the rest of the competition. Originally hailing from Jamaica Vanessa Logan aka V Ne$$ came to America at an early age. V-NE$$ has been influenced by music since a young age. Listening to everything from reggae artists such as Bob Marley to Hip hop artists such as Nas, Mc Lyte, and Queen Latifah. Living in the Northend of Hartford V-NE$$ fell in love with rap and from the start she honed her craft through the years between battling and recording and often times taking on the best emcees Connecticut had to offer. V-NE$$ has released many projects including the mixtape “Can You Hear Me Now” and 2012’s “Both Ways” mixtape collaboration with fellow Connecticut artist Snacks (Lite Night Snacks). She’s also been featured on various mixtapes including tapes hosted by Coast to Coast mixtapes and she was recently just featured on DJ Meechie’s “Fresh Faces 4” She’s also performed at many showcases and concerts throughout the tri-state area, and V-NE$$ also opened up for Lil Kim at the Hippodrome in Springfield as well. V-NE$$ is continuing to make music for everyone to feel and with this new project her experiences and growth in music and life will be shown.
