"The Conn-viction Tapes" is a Connecticut based album entirely produced by SeeS that will feature a different Connecticut artist in collaboration with SeeS on each track. The album is presented by CT Corporate Takeover and upon completion will be streamed online for free and be available for free download on various sites including SoundCloud and DatPiff. The recording process will be documented including videos, photos, and promotional tracks leading up to the release in early 2015.

ReplyDeleteYou sure you reached out to all CT artists? My group the Replacements is one...you got Klokwize, Joey Batts, Young Steady, White Cheddar, etc....would love to see this extend to more as well but its dope you got straight CT artists here

I am sure that I have not reached out to all CT artists as that would be impossible, there are thousands in the state. But I have tried my best to promote the project, get the word out there, and I have been extremely responsive to anybody who has shown interest. You mentioned some great artists, 3 of whom I have performed at shows they performed at more then once. I have introduced myself, they know who I am. All of the artists mentioned could have been on the project if they had simply connected with me on facebook, followed my blog, and asked. I look forward to working with any artist in the future who reaches out to me, but I am not gonna reserve spots for artists just because somebody tells me who I have left out. Thanks for the support, tell them to reach out to me. I am not hand-picking who is on this project and going after people; peoples own work ethic and spirit to network and connect with artists at shows and support the movement has decided which artists got the first 18 slots. There will be more chances in the future, but tell them to support and reach out, cause I will be even more overwhelmed then I am now when the second project opens up, I need people to help me not just ask what can I do for them and why didn't I do it for this person and that person.
