Starlin Dat Kid was born December 22 in New Britain, Connecticut. He is also known as Bumpy Knuckles. Starlin is from the streets of New Britain, the grittiest projects in town Mount Pleasant known as “Hill-Top” where he learned the ropes and paved the way into making him a street legend of the town. Starlin is gradually establishing himself as one of Connecticut Rap's greatest and most successful MCs since 2011. Starlin has been quoted as saying “I came from a single parent home. Shit wasn't easy but those lessons made me a man real fast. I'm a natural born provider so everything I touch must turn to gold I have a family to feed. I always been creative music was always a part of me” the heavyweight stands quiet and reserved but when it's time to write and express himself he says “All I do is sit back think of all the people places and things that fucked me up and brought me to this point in life and give y'all a piece of me” Starlin’s music relates to any and every one even if you have not endured struggle or pain you want to relate and find out what I ‘m about. Starlin is known as a natural born provider amongst his family friends with a serious gift, when he touches that microphone there is no turning back the raw lyrics draw you in and make you feel him no matter the walk or path you are on.
